On May 25, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Husseinzoda received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Tajikistan Tomas Danestad and Head of the delegation of the European Union Raimundas Karoblis.

 

 

 

In addition to discussing bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Sweden, the parties also discussed the possibility of expanding relations with the European Union.

The Kingdom of Sweden holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2023.
