1 ноября 2024 года Первый заместитель министра иностранных дел Республики Таджикистан Исматулло Насредин принял копии верительных грамот новоназначенного Чрезвычайного и Полномочного Посла Соединённого Королевства Великобритании и Северной Ирландии в Республике Таджикистан Кэтрин Смиттон.

В ходе беседы стороны обменялись мнениями о текущем состоянии и перспективах развития двусторонних отношений между Таджикистаном и Великобританией, а также других актуальных вопросах, представляющих взаимный интерес.

Исматулло Насредин поздравил Посла Великобритании с назначением на эту должность и пожелал ей успехов в ее дипломатической миссии в Таджикистане.
