On December 10, 2025, consular consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dushanbe was arranged. The delegations were led by Deputy Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda and Iran Vahid Jalalzadeh.

On December 12, 2024, the next round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic was held in Paris. On December 13, 2024, in Beijing, inter-ministerial consultations on analytical activities were held. Sides discussed issues related to the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between the two countries in political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of tourism, science and strengthening the legal basis, partnership in the framework of international organizations and other issues of common interest.

At the end of the meeting, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana on Bilateral political consultations has been signed.
