On May 21, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Niyatbekzoda Vafo met with the Rector of the Oguz Khan University of Engineering Technologies of Turkmenistan Gurbanmyrat Mezilov.

During the meeting, the parties expressed interest in expanding further cooperation in the field of education and science, training and retraining of specialists, exchange of experience on modern teaching methods and scientific research.
